Jan 21st

IMP 100: We have a quiz today on functions and they were given an assignment last night HW 29. Next week is the last week of the semester and we will be compiling our portfolios and tying things up.

IMP 200: They have been working on their final statistics projects that will be due next week. A few students have chosen to take a final exam instead.

Geometry: Last week we finished chapter 3 and had a test. Many of the class did not show mastery of this chapter so we will be reviewing this chapter again today and students will have test corrections as a homework assignment.

Statistics: Yesterday we tried finishing projects started in chapter 3 and as small groups. Each student was given a list of missing assignments.

Advising: We volunteered at the Rescue Mission last week. This week we are going to be signing up for classes and going over credits.

Many, many students in this class are behind in HW and would benefit from more time being spent on HW at home.

In this class many students have group work out, this will have an impact on their final grade.

Advising
We are going to the homeless shelter tomorrow. We are also preparing for writing work-samples that will happen later this month.
Also at the end of this month we will be having a school wide project fair.
Starting semester 2 students will be taking over Thursday's and Friday's classes. From my advising they've generated 4 or 5 good ideas that they would be willing to run for at least one month.
